Hospital Inpatient

Hospital inpatient services are available to anybody that needs to be safely managed through detox services when heavily addicted to alcohol and drugs, or who needs a broader spectrum of care such as somebody who has a dual diagnosis and also requires mental health services as part of their rehab procedure. You will find both short-term and long-term hospital inpatient services available.

Seniors/Older Adults

Seniors and older adults who struggle with drug use may have unique obstacles they have to conquer while in treatment, which treatment professionals within the center they choose to be a part of should be keen of to ensure a complete recovery is possible. So for seniors and older adults, it is wise to choose a facility that's familiar with helping seniors and older adults address the unique life and drug use problems that these clients face which can include a broader spectrum of services including medical treatment and so on.

Criminal Justice Clients

Criminal justice clients find their way into treatment as part of a court order to satisfy a part of their sentencing for a drug offense. Criminal justice clients in alcohol and drug rehabilitation often receive reduced sentences, fines etc. when cooperating with drug rehab specifications enforced on them as part of sentencing and also naturally when successfully completing an alcohol and drug rehabilitation program.

ASL or Other Assistance for Hearing Impaired

The hearing impaired can often be predisposed to alcoholism and drug and alcohol use due to challenges their impairment impose on them. While detection of this issue can often be hard among the hearing impaired, you'll find ASL as well as other assistance services intended for them when substance abuse rehab is necessary. Aside from ASL, such services can sometimes include assistive listening tools and captioned video resources to ensure that deaf and hearing impaired folks are getting the support they require in drug and alcohol rehab.

Self Payment

Self Payment is needed when someone's insurance won't cover the total cost of rehabilitation or will only pay for part of it. In these situations, it may seem like a disadvantage but individuals in fact have a much more leverage due to the fact they can select whichever facility they want without the restrictions from health insurance companies that so many people encounter. In addition, rehabilitation programs will usually offer payment assistance for people whose only option is self payment to enable them to get into treatment.

Medicare

Medicare recipients can receive rehabilitation at alcohol and drug treatment programs which deliver either inpatient or outpatient rehab if the center is in the network of Medicare-participating providers and with the consent of their Medicare appointed physician, who must help out with setting up the individual's treatment strategy. Inpatient services are provided through Medicare Part A, with out of pocket costs being just like any other type of hospital stay, and outpatient treatment being paid for through Medicare Part B.

State Financed Insurance (Other Than Medicaid)

State financed insurance other than Medicaid can be used to cover the costs of drug and alcohol treatment if other forms of insurance or self payment aren't a choice. If someone doesn't have private insurance and doesn't yet know whether they could be eligible for state insurance, they can consult their Social Services office in their area to ascertain if they are and then fill out an application. Most state financed insurance will cover both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation, but generally only in the state which offers the insurance.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on which plan you are covered by, all private medical insurance plans generally cover some type of alcohol and drug rehabilitation service ranging from outpatient rehab to inpatient or residential drug and alcohol rehab facilities. Individuals could have to take part in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program which is within their network of providers and there can be other restrictions such as just how long their stay in rehabilitation is covered. Individuals can choose a quality center they prefer and speak with a rehab specialist to determine if their insurance will handle it.

Military Insurance (E.G., Va, Tricare)

Military insurance including VA and Tricare does cover the costs of particular substance abuse treatment services. Detoxification services, outpatient and inpatient programs as well as partial hospitalization are paid for by military insurance, although military members may need pre-authorization in which case they can speak with their VA or Tricare representative. There may be some restrictions about how much time a stay in inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation is allowed, and all of these questions will be answered before you start rehab so that it is clear how long and individual can stay in the rehab facility of preference.
