Outpatient

Outpatient services are on the lower end of the spectrum of treatment solutions in terms of level of care, as the individual will be able to keep their lifestyle in lots of ways without the commitment of needing to stay in a rehab center while undergoing rehabilitation services. While this may appear ideal it will not provide the required change of surroundings than a lot of people in rehab need to experience a productive rehab.

Spanish

Not all alcohol and drug treatment facilities possess the staff or wherewithal to cater to the demands of Spanish speaking clientele, but fortunately there are more and more programs that can do so because the necessity for Spanish services is higher than ever before. Counselling, study information and stuff like that are now frequently available in Spanish in both short and long terms facilities which provide inpatient or residential treatment and outpatient Spanish rehab is available too around the country.

Self Payment

Self Payment is needed when someone's insurance isn't going to cover the total cost of rehabilitation or will only cover part of it. In these situations, it may seem like a disadvantage but people actually have a much more leverage because they can decide on whichever program they would like without the limitations from health insurance providers that so many people face. Likewise, treatment programs will frequently offer payment assistance for people whose only option is self payment to enable them to get into rehab.

Medicaid

Certain rehab facilities will take Medicaid if the individual is not able to self pay or present another kind of private medical health insurance. Medicaid may only pay for outpatient and short-term rehabilitation in a limited amount of facilities, and in this instance individuals may wish to explore the self pay alternative and drum up any resources they can to fund a more quality rehabilitation facility which will get better results, like a long-term residential drug treatment program.

Medicare

Medicare recipients can receive rehabilitation at alcohol and drug rehab facilities which deliver either inpatient or outpatient rehab if the center is included in the network of Medicare-participating providers and with the consent of their Medicare appointed doctor, who must help in establishing the individual's rehabilitation plan. Inpatient services are covered through Medicare Medicare Part A, with out of pocket costs being similar to any other kind of hospital stay, and outpatient rehabilitation being covered through Medicare Medicare Part B.

State Financed Insurance (Other Than Medicaid)

State financed insurance other than Medicaid can be used to cover the costs of drug treatment if other kinds of insurance or self payment aren't a possibility. If a person doesn't have private insurance and doesn't yet know if they may qualify for state insurance, they should consult their Social Services office within their area to determine if they are and then fill out an application. The majority of state financed insurance will handle both outpatient and inpatient treatment, but generally only in the state which provides the insurance coverage.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on which plan you are covered by, all private medical insurance plans typically cover some form of alcohol and drug rehab service ranging from outpatient treatment to inpatient or residential drug and alcohol treatment facilities. Individuals may have to participate in an alcohol and drug rehabilitation center that's inside their network of providers and there could be other restrictions for example the length of time their stay in rehabilitation is covered. Individuals can choose a quality facility they prefer and speak with a rehabilitation specialist to ascertain if their insurance will cover it.

Military Insurance (E.G., Va, Tricare)

Military insurance including VA and Tricare does cover the price of particular drug abuse rehabilitation services. Detoxification services, outpatient and inpatient programs as well as partial hospitalization are all paid for by military insurance, although military members may need pre-authorization and in that case they can liaise with their VA or Tricare representative. There can be some limitations about just how long a stay in inpatient drug and alcohol treatment is permitted, and all of these questions can be answered before you start rehabilitation so that it is clear how much time and individual can remain in the rehab center of preference.

Sliding Fee Scale

A sliding fee scale is a payment assistance option provided by a number of drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities in an effort to help individuals afford treatment where this might not have been doable initially. By way of example, one client's fee for rehab could be different and lower than another individual whose financial situation is better which makes them better able to pay for the full expense of rehab. Registrars take into account additional circumstances besides income including number of dependents to determine the ultimate cost and using the sliding scale.

Payment Assistance (Check With Facility For Details)

Many drug rehab facilities provide payment assistance to help individuals who may not have enough funds to self pay for rehabilitation or whose health insurance won't provide coverage or full coverage for their stay. For instance, Sometimes insurance only covers a short-term facility when in reality a long-term facility will probably be the more suitable option. To find out what payment assistance might be available, say for example a sliding fee scale, seek advice from the facility for particulars.
