Substance Abuse Treatment Services

Substance abuse treatment services are available in many different settings with different treatment lengths and plans to accommodate the various needs of clients with any kind of and degree of addiction. With both short and long term and both inpatient and residential centers now being paid by many insurance plans, there's no need to postpone receiving substance abuse treatment services for anybody who wants it.

Outpatient

Outpatient services are on the bottom end of the spectrum of rehabilitation solutions regarding intensity of care, as the individual is able to maintain their lifestyle in lots of ways with no commitment of needing to be in a rehabilitation center while receiving treatment services. Although this may seem perfect it may not provide the required change of atmosphere than many people in rehab require to experience a productive rehabilitation.

Self Payment

Self Payment is necessary when someone's insurance isn't going to pay for the entire cost of rehabilitation or will only pay for some of it. In these situations, it may seem like a drawback but individuals actually have a much more leverage because they can select whichever center they want without the limitations from health insurers that so many men and women encounter. Likewise, rehab facilities will usually offer payment assistance for individuals whose only option is self payment to enable them to get into treatment.

Medicare

Medicare recipients can seek rehabilitation at drug rehabilitation centers which provide either inpatient or outpatient treatment if the center is included in the network of Medicare-participating providers and with the authorization of their Medicare appointed doctor, who must assist in establishing the person's rehabilitation strategy. Inpatient services are covered through Medicare Medicare Part A, with up front costs being the same as any other kind of hospital stay, and outpatient treatment being covered through Medicare Part B.

Military Insurance (E.G., Va, Tricare)

Military insurance which includes VA and Tricare does cover the costs of certain substance abuse rehab solutions. Detoxification services, outpatient and inpatient centers and also partial hospitalization are all paid for by military insurance, although military members may need pre-authorization and in that case they can liaise with their VA or Tricare representative. There may be some limitations about how much time a stay in inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation is permitted, and all of these questions can be answered before beginning treatment so that it's clear just how long and individual can remain in the treatment center of choice.
