Hospital Inpatient

Hospital inpatient services are available to anyone who must be safely managed through detox services when intensely addicted to drugs, or who requires a better spectrum of care such as someone who is dealing with a dual diagnosis and also needs mental health solutions during their treatment procedure. There are both short-term and long-term hospital inpatient services offered.

Spanish

Not all drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs have the staff or resources to cater to the requirements of Spanish speaking clients, but fortunately there are more and more programs that are able to do so because the need for Spanish services is higher than ever before. Therapy, study information and stuff like that are now very often accessible in Spanish in both long and short terms facilities which provide inpatient or residential rehab and outpatient Spanish treatment is also available around the country.

Self Payment

Self Payment is needed when a person's insurance isn't going to pay for the total cost of rehab or will only pay for part of it. In these situations, it may seem like a drawback but people in fact have a great deal of leverage due to the fact they can select whichever program they want without the limitations from health insurance companies that so many people face. Likewise, rehab facilities will often provide payment assistance for individuals whose only choice is self payment to help them get into rehab.

Medicaid

Some rehabilitation centers will take Medicaid in the event the individual cannot self pay or present another form of private medical insurance. Medicaid may possibly pay for outpatient and short-term treatment in a limited amount of centers, and in this instance individuals may want to explore the self pay option and come up with up any resources they can to pay for a more quality treatment program which will produce better results, like a long-term residential alcohol and drug rehabilitation program.

Medicare

Medicare recipients can seek rehab at alcohol and drug rehabilitation facilities which provide either inpatient or outpatient treatment when the facility is included in the network of Medicare-participating providers and with the authorization of their Medicare appointed physician, who must aid in setting up the person's rehab plan. Inpatient solutions are covered through Medicare Part A, with up front costs being just like any other type of hospital stay, and outpatient rehabilitation being covered through Medicare Medicare Part B.

State Financed Insurance (Other Than Medicaid)

State financed insurance other than Medicaid may be used to cover the expense of alcohol and drug rehabilitation if other forms of insurance or self payment aren't an option. When someone has no private insurance and doesn't yet know whether they could qualify for state insurance, they can consult their Social Services office within their area to ascertain if they are and then fill out an application. The majority of state financed insurance covers both outpatient and inpatient rehab, but typically only in the state which provides the insurance coverage.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on which plan you are covered by, all private health care insurance plans typically cover some kind of drug rehab service which range from outpatient rehab to inpatient or residential alcohol and drug rehab programs. Individuals could possibly have to participate in a drug rehabilitation facility which is inside their network of providers and there may be other restrictions for example the amount of time their stay in rehabilitation is covered. Individuals can pick a quality facility they like and speak with a rehabilitation specialist to determine if their insurance will cover it.

Military Insurance (E.G., Va, Tricare)

Military insurance including VA and Tricare does cover the costs of particular drug abuse treatment solutions. Detox services, outpatient and inpatient centers in addition to partial hospitalization are all paid for by military insurance, although military members may require pre-authorization and in that case they can speak with their VA or Tricare representative. There can be some restrictions about how much time a stay in inpatient drug rehabilitation is permitted, and all of these questions can be answered before you start rehab so that it's clear just how long and individual can remain in the rehab facility of preference.
