Halfway House

A halfway house is a location which allows for an easy transition if somebody has become sober independently or has completed an alcohol and drug rehab facility and needs help re-acclimating to a normal lifestyle. Residing in a halfway house, or sober living facility as it is sometimes called, is part of sentencing if a person is found guilty of drug charges as well. If guidance is needed locating a halfway house, speak to a drug and alcohol rehab facility and speak with a treatment counselor who can point you towards the right direction.
