Partial Hospitalization/Day Treatment

Partial hospitalization, or Day Treatment as it's often called, is a drug rehabilitation program set up for individuals who need and desire a comprehensive and organized rehabilitation strategy and atmosphere yet don't need around the clock care. It can help make men and women in rehabilitation stay supported during the process without interfering with other activities they might need to maintain whilst in rehab. Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is also an option for those who have finished an inpatient or residential program and need assistance with the smooth transition back to a normal drug-free way of life.

Medicare

Medicare recipients can receive rehab at alcohol and drug rehab programs which provide either inpatient or outpatient treatment if the program is in the network of Medicare-participating providers and with the authorization of their Medicare appointed physician, who must help in establishing the person's rehabilitation strategy. Inpatient solutions are provided through Medicare Medicare Part A, with out of pocket costs being the same as any other kind of hospital stay, and outpatient rehabilitation being paid for through Medicare Part B.
