Hospital Inpatient

Hospital inpatient services are available to anybody that should be safely managed through detoxification services when heavily addicted to drugs, or who wants a better spectrum of care such as someone who has a dual diagnosis and also requires mental health services as part of their treatment process. You'll find both short-term and long-term hospital inpatient services available.

ASL or Other Assistance for Hearing Impaired

The hearing impaired can often be predisposed to alcoholism and drug and alcohol use as a result of problems that their impairment impose on them. While discovery of this problem can often be difficult among the hearing impaired, you will find ASL and other assistance services intended for them when substance abuse rehab is necessary. Apart from ASL, such services might include assistive listening tools and captioned video resources to ensure that deaf and hearing impaired folks are getting the support they require in drug rehab.

Self Payment

Self Payment is required when someone's insurance won't pay for the total cost of treatment or will only pay for part of it. In these instances, it may seem like a drawback but people actually have a great deal of leverage because they can decide on whichever program they want without the restrictions from health insurance providers that so many individuals face. In addition, rehab programs will frequently provide payment assistance for individuals whose only option is self payment to help them get into rehabilitation.

Medicaid

Certain treatment programs will take Medicaid if the individual cannot self pay or present some other kind of private health care insurance. Medicaid may possibly cover outpatient and short-term treatment in a limited amount of facilities, and in such cases individuals may wish to explore the self pay option and come up with up any resources they're able to to cover a more quality treatment program which will produce better results, like a long-term residential drug rehab center.

Medicare

Medicare recipients can receive treatment at alcohol and drug rehab centers which provide either inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation if the program is in the network of Medicare-participating providers and with the consent of their Medicare appointed doctor, who must assist in establishing the individual's rehab plan. Inpatient services are covered through Medicare Part A, with out of pocket costs being the same as any other kind of hospital stay, and outpatient rehab being paid for through Medicare Medicare Part B.

State Financed Insurance (Other Than Medicaid)

State financed insurance other than Medicaid can be used to cover the expense of drug and alcohol rehabilitation if other forms of insurance or self payment are not a possibility. When someone does not have any private insurance and doesn't yet know whether they could qualify for state insurance, they can consult their Social Services office in their area to figure out if they are and then apply. The majority of state financed insurance covers both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation, but usually only within the state which provides the insurance.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on which plan you are covered by, all private health insurance plans generally cover some sort of drug treatment service ranging from outpatient treatment to inpatient or residential drug rehabilitation centers. Individuals might have to participate in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility that is within their network of providers and there could be other restrictions for example how long their stay in rehab is covered. Individuals can pick a good facility they like and consult with a rehab counselor to ascertain if their insurance will take care of it.

Military Insurance (E.G., Va, Tricare)

Military insurance such as VA and Tricare does cover the expenses of certain drug abuse rehab solutions. Detox services, outpatient and inpatient facilities as well as partial hospitalization are all covered by military insurance, although military members may need pre-authorization in which case they can speak with their VA or Tricare consultant. There may be some limitations about how long a stay in inpatient alcohol and drug rehabilitation is allowed, and all of these questions will be answered before you start rehab so that it's clear how long and individual can remain in the treatment center of preference.
