Outpatient

Outpatient services are on the bottom end of the spectrum of rehab solutions in terms of level of care, as the individual will be able to keep their lifestyle in lots of ways with no commitment of needing to remain in a rehab center while receiving rehabilitation services. Although this may seem perfect it will not provide the much needed change of environment than many individuals in rehabilitation need to have a successful rehabilitation.

Criminal Justice Clients

Criminal justice clients get into rehabilitation as part of a court order to satisfy a part of their sentencing for any drug offense. Criminal justice clients in alcohol and drug rehabilitation often receive reduced penalties, fines etc. when cooperating with drug and alcohol rehab specifications enforced on them in sentencing especially of course when successfully completing a drug rehab facility.

Spanish

Not all alcohol and drug rehabilitation facilities have the staff or wherewithal to cater to the needs of Spanish speaking clients, but fortunately there are more and more centers that can do so because the need for Spanish services is higher than in the past. Therapy, study info and the like are now very often obtainable in Spanish in both long and short terms facilities which provide inpatient or residential treatment and outpatient Spanish rehabilitation is available too around the country.

Self Payment

Self Payment is needed when a person's insurance isn't going to cover the total cost of rehabilitation or will only cover some of it. In these cases, it may appear like a drawback but individuals actually have a great deal of leverage because they can decide on whichever facility they would like without the restrictions from health insurers that so many people encounter. In addition, rehab programs will often provide payment assistance for individuals whose only option is self payment to help them get into treatment.

State Financed Insurance (Other Than Medicaid)

State financed insurance other than Medicaid may be used to cover the expense of alcohol and drug treatment if other kinds of insurance or self payment aren't an option. If a person does not have any private insurance and doesn't yet know whether they might be eligible for state insurance, they can consult their Social Services office within their area to figure out if they are and then fill out an application. The majority of state financed insurance will cover both outpatient and inpatient rehab, but usually only in the state which provides the insurance coverage.
