Hospital Inpatient

Hospital inpatient services are accessible to anybody who must be safely managed through detoxification services when heavily addicted to drugs, or who needs a better spectrum of care such as someone who is dealing with a dual diagnosis so also needs mental health services during their rehab procedure. You can find both short-term and long-term hospital inpatient services available.

ASL or Other Assistance for Hearing Impaired

The hearing impaired can often be predisposed to alcoholism and drug and alcohol use because of the problems that their impairment impose on them. While discovery of the problem can sometimes be difficult among the hearing impaired, there are ASL and other assistance services designed for them when drug abuse rehabilitation is needed. Apart from ASL, such services might include assistive listening tools and captioned video resources to ensure that deaf and hearing impaired folks are getting the support they require in drug rehabilitation.

Self Payment

Self Payment is required when someone's insurance isn't going to cover the entire cost of treatment or will only pay for part of it. In these instances, it may seem like a drawback but individuals in fact have a great deal of leverage due to the fact they can select whichever facility they would like without the limitations from health insurers that so many individuals face. In addition, treatment facilities will usually provide payment assistance for individuals whose only choice is self payment to enable them to get into treatment.

Medicaid

Some rehabilitation centers accept Medicaid when the individual is not able to self pay or present another type of private medical insurance. Medicaid might pay for outpatient and short-term rehab in a limited amount of centers, and in such cases individuals may want to investigate the self pay option and drum up any resources they are able to to pay for a more quality rehab center that will produce better results, like a long-term residential drug rehabilitation facility.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on which program you are covered by, all private health insurance plans generally cover some sort of drug treatment service which range from outpatient rehabilitation to inpatient or residential alcohol and drug treatment facilities. Individuals may have to participate in a drug rehab facility which is inside their network of providers and there could be other restrictions including the length of time their stay in rehab is covered. Individuals can choose an excellent center they prefer and speak with a rehabilitation counselor to ascertain if their insurance covers it.

Military Insurance (E.G., Va, Tricare)

Military insurance including VA and Tricare does cover the expenses of particular substance abuse treatment services. Detoxification services, outpatient and inpatient centers as well as partial hospitalization are paid for by military insurance, although military members may require pre-authorization and in that case they can speak with their VA or Tricare consultant. There might be some restrictions about just how long a stay in inpatient alcohol and drug rehabilitation is allowed, and all of these questions will be answered prior to starting rehab so that it's clear just how long and individual can stay in the rehab facility of choice.
