Outpatient

Outpatient solutions are on the lower end of the spectrum of rehabilitation services with regards to intensity of care, because the individual will be able to keep their lifestyle in several ways with no commitment of needing to be in a treatment program while undergoing rehabilitation services. Although this might seem ideal it will not provide the much needed change of surroundings than a lot of people in recovery need to have a successful rehab.

Spanish

Not all drug and alcohol treatment facilities have the staff or wherewithal to cater to the needs of Spanish speaking clientele, but luckily there are more and more programs that can do so because the necessity for Spanish services is higher than ever before. Therapy, study data and the like are now very often available in Spanish in both short and long terms programs which deliver inpatient or residential rehab and outpatient Spanish rehab is available too around the country.

Medicaid

Some rehab centers will take Medicaid in the event the individual is not able to self pay or present any other form of private health insurance. Medicaid might cover outpatient and short-term rehabilitation in a limited amount of programs, and in such cases individuals might want to investigate the self pay option and come up with up any resources they are able to to pay for a more quality rehab center that will get better results, such as a long-term residential drug and alcohol rehab program.

Medicare

Medicare recipients can receive rehab at alcohol and drug rehab programs which deliver either inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation if the program is in the network of Medicare-participating providers and with the approval of their Medicare appointed doctor, who must aid in setting up the individual's rehab strategy. Inpatient solutions are provided through Medicare Medicare Part A, with out of pocket costs being the same as any other type of hospital stay, and outpatient rehab being covered through Medicare Part B.

State Financed Insurance (Other Than Medicaid)

State financed insurance other than Medicaid can be used to cover the costs of drug treatment if other forms of insurance or self payment are not an option. If someone doesn't have private insurance and doesn't yet know whether they may be eligible for state insurance, they should seek advice from their Social Services office within their area to determine if they are and then fill out an application. Most state financed insurance covers both outpatient and inpatient treatment, but usually only in the state which provides the insurance.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on which plan you are covered by, all private health insurance plans generally cover some form of drug and alcohol rehab service including outpatient rehab to inpatient or residential alcohol and drug rehab programs. Individuals could have to take part in a drug rehabilitation program that's within their network of providers and there may be other restrictions for example the length of time their stay in rehab is covered. Individuals can select a good program they like and consult with a rehabilitation counselor to determine if their insurance will take care of it.
