Outpatient

Outpatient services are on the bottom end of the spectrum of treatment services in terms of intensity of care, as the individual will be able to maintain their lifestyle in several ways without the commitment of having to be in a rehabilitation facility while receiving treatment services. Even though this may appear perfect it may not provide the required change of environment than many people in rehabilitation need to experience a productive rehab.

Criminal Justice Clients

Criminal justice clients get into rehab due to a court ruling to satisfy part of their sentencing for any drug offense. Criminal justice clients in alcohol and drug rehab often receive reduced penalties, fines etc. when being cooperative with drug and alcohol treatment requirements enforced on them as part of sentencing and particularly naturally when successfully completing an alcohol and drug treatment facility.

Medicaid

Certain rehabilitation centers will take Medicaid in the event the individual is unable to self pay or present some other type of private medical insurance. Medicaid might pay for outpatient and short-term rehabilitation within a limited amount of centers, and in such cases individuals may wish to explore the self pay option and drum up any resources they can to fund a more quality rehab center that will get better results, such as a long-term residential drug rehab facility.
