Outpatient

Outpatient solutions are on the bottom end of the spectrum of rehabilitation solutions in terms of intensity of care, because the individual will be able to maintain their lifestyle in several ways without the commitment of needing to remain in a treatment center while receiving treatment services. While this may appear perfect it will not provide the much needed change of environment than many people in recovery need to experience a successful rehabilitation.

Spanish

Not all alcohol and drug treatment programs have the staff or wherewithal to focus on the needs of Spanish speaking clients, but thankfully there are more and more programs that are able to do so because the necessity for Spanish services is higher than any other time. Therapy, study info and so on are now very often obtainable in Spanish in both long and short terms centers which deliver inpatient or residential rehab and outpatient Spanish treatment is available too nationwide.

Medicaid

Certain rehab programs will take Medicaid if the individual is unable to self pay or present another form of private medical insurance. Medicaid may possibly pay for outpatient and short-term rehab in a limited amount of centers, and in such cases individuals may choose to explore the self pay option and come up with up any resources they are able to to pay for a more quality rehabilitation center which will get better results, say for example a long-term residential drug treatment center.

Medicare

Medicare recipients can receive rehabilitation at drug and alcohol treatment centers which deliver either inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation if the program is included in the network of Medicare-participating providers and with the consent of their Medicare appointed doctor, who must aid in establishing the individual's treatment plan. Inpatient services are covered through Medicare Part A, with out of pocket costs being exactly like any other kind of hospital stay, and outpatient rehab being covered through Medicare Part B.

State Financed Insurance (Other Than Medicaid)

State financed insurance other than Medicaid can be used to cover the costs of alcohol and drug rehab if other kinds of insurance or self payment are not an option. If a person does not have any private insurance and doesn't yet know if they could be eligible for state insurance, they should seek advice from their Social Services office in their area to determine if they are and then apply. The majority of state financed insurance will take care of both outpatient and inpatient rehab, but generally only within the state which offers the insurance coverage.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on which plan you are covered by, all private medical insurance plans generally cover some sort of drug rehabilitation service which range from outpatient treatment to inpatient or residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities. Individuals might have to participate in a drug treatment center which is inside their network of providers and there could be other restrictions including how long their stay in rehab is covered. Individuals can pick an excellent program they like and speak with a rehabilitation specialist to ascertain if their insurance will handle it.
