Hospital Inpatient

Hospital inpatient services are available to anyone that must be safely managed through detoxification services when intensely addicted to drugs and alcohol, or who requires a better spectrum of care such as someone who has a dual diagnosis so also requires mental health services during their treatment process. There are both short-term and long-term hospital inpatient services available.

Outpatient

Outpatient solutions are on the low end of the spectrum of rehab solutions in terms of intensity of care, for the reason that individual will be able to keep their lifestyle in several ways without the commitment of having to stay in a rehabilitation center while undergoing treatment services. Even though this might appear ideal it will not provide the much needed change of environment than many individuals in rehabilitation need to have a successful rehabilitation.

Seniors/Older Adults

Seniors and older adults who have a problem with drug use could have unique challenges they have to conquer whilst in treatment, which treatment professionals within the facility they decide to be a part of should be keen of so that a full recovery is achievable. So for seniors and older adults, it is prudent to select a rehab that is accustomed to helping seniors and older adults handle the unique life and drug abuse issues that these clients face that might include a wider spectrum of services including medical care and so on.

ASL or Other Assistance for Hearing Impaired

The hearing impaired are often prone to alcoholism and drug abuse due to challenges their impairment impose on them. While discovery of this issue can be hard among the hearing impaired, you'll find ASL along with other assistance services designed for them when drug abuse rehab is required. Apart from ASL, such services can sometimes include assistive listening equipment and captioned video resources so that deaf and hearing impaired individuals are obtaining the support they need in alcohol and drug treatment.

Self Payment

Self Payment is needed when someone's insurance won't pay for the entire cost of treatment or will only pay for part of it. In these situations, it may seem like a drawback but individuals in fact have a great deal of leverage because they can decide on whichever program they want without the limitations from health insurers that so many people encounter. In addition, rehab programs will usually offer payment assistance for people whose only option is self payment to enable them to get into rehabilitation.

Medicaid

Some rehabilitation programs accept Medicaid when the individual cannot self pay or present some other type of private medical insurance. Medicaid may possibly cover outpatient and short-term rehabilitation in a limited amount of programs, and in this case individuals may wish to investigate the self pay alternative and drum up any resources they're able to to pay for a more quality rehab program which will get better results, such as a long-term residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program.

Medicare

Medicare recipients can receive treatment at drug treatment facilities which deliver either inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation if the center is in the network of Medicare-participating providers and with the approval of their Medicare appointed physician, who must help in setting up the individual's rehab plan. Inpatient solutions are provided through Medicare Medicare Part A, with out of pocket costs being the same as any other type of hospital stay, and outpatient treatment being paid for through Medicare Part B.

State Financed Insurance (Other Than Medicaid)

State financed insurance other than Medicaid can be used to cover the expense of drug rehabilitation if other kinds of insurance or self payment are not an option. When someone doesn't have private insurance and doesn't yet know if they could qualify for state insurance, they can talk with their Social Services office within their area to ascertain if they are and then apply. The majority of state financed insurance will cover both outpatient and inpatient treatment, but generally only inside the state which offers the insurance coverage.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on which program you are covered by, all private health insurance plans generally cover some type of drug and alcohol treatment service ranging from outpatient treatment to inpatient or residential drug treatment facilities. Individuals might have to participate in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center that is in their network of providers and there may be other restrictions including how long their stay in treatment is covered. Individuals can pick a good center they prefer and speak with a treatment specialist to find out if their insurance covers it.

Military Insurance (E.G., Va, Tricare)

Military insurance including VA and Tricare does cover the expense of particular drug abuse treatment solutions. Detox services, outpatient and inpatient programs in addition to partial hospitalization are all covered by military insurance, although military members may need pre-authorization in which case they can speak with their VA or Tricare consultant. There may be some limitations about how long a stay in inpatient drug rehab is allowed, and all of these questions will be answered before beginning treatment so that it's clear how much time and individual can stay in the treatment program of choice.
