  • If an individual wishes to get off of fentanyl and stop the cycle of addiction, a drug detox facility can help them through detox and withdrawal and a drug rehab program can treat the individual for addiction.

Outpatient

Outpatient solutions are on the lower end of the spectrum of treatment solutions regarding intensity of care, because the individual will be able to keep their lifestyle in lots of ways with no commitment of having to remain in a rehab facility while undergoing treatment services. Although this may appear perfect it may not provide the required change of surroundings than many individuals in treatment have to have to have a productive rehab.

ASL or Other Assistance for Hearing Impaired

The hearing impaired are often predisposed to alcoholism and substance abuse because of the problems that their impairment impose on them. While detection of this problem is often hard among the hearing impaired, you will find ASL and other assistance services available for them when drug abuse rehab is required. Besides ASL, such services can sometimes include assistive listening equipment and captioned video resources to ensure that deaf and hearing impaired folks are receiving the help they need in alcohol and drug rehabilitation.

Self Payment

Self Payment is needed when someone's insurance won't pay for the total cost of treatment or will only pay for part of it. In these situations, it may seem like a disadvantage but individuals in fact have a much more leverage because they can decide on whichever center they would like without the limitations from health insurance providers that so many people face. Likewise, rehab programs will often offer payment assistance for people whose only choice is self payment to enable them to get into rehabilitation.

Medicaid

Some rehab programs will take Medicaid when the individual cannot self pay or present another form of private health care insurance. Medicaid might pay for outpatient and short-term rehab in a limited amount of facilities, and in cases like this individuals may wish to investigate the self pay option and drum up any resources they are able to to fund a more quality rehabilitation center which will produce better results, say for example a long-term residential drug and alcohol rehab center.

Medicare

Medicare recipients can receive rehab at alcohol and drug rehabilitation facilities which deliver either inpatient or outpatient treatment if the facility is in the network of Medicare-participating providers and with the consent of their Medicare appointed doctor, who must assist in setting up the person's rehab strategy. Inpatient services are provided through Medicare Medicare Part A, with out of pocket costs being similar to any other kind of hospital stay, and outpatient rehab being paid for through Medicare Medicare Part B.

State Financed Insurance (Other Than Medicaid)

State financed insurance other than Medicaid may be used to cover the costs of alcohol and drug rehab if other kinds of insurance or self payment are not a possibility. When someone doesn't have any private insurance and doesn't yet know whether they might qualify for state insurance, they can seek advice from their Social Services office in their area to determine if they are and then fill out an application. Most state financed insurance will cover both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation, but typically only in the state which provides the insurance coverage.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on which plan you are covered by, all private health insurance plans generally cover some sort of alcohol and drug rehab service ranging from outpatient rehab to inpatient or residential drug and alcohol treatment programs. Individuals might have to take part in a drug and alcohol rehab program which is in their network of providers and there might be other restrictions like the length of time their stay in rehabilitation is covered. Individuals can select a good facility they like and consult with a treatment counselor to find out if their insurance will handle it.

Military Insurance (E.G., Va, Tricare)

Military insurance including VA and Tricare does cover the price of certain drug abuse treatment solutions. Detox services, outpatient and inpatient centers along with partial hospitalization are all covered by military insurance, although military members may need pre-authorization and in that case they can speak with their VA or Tricare consultant. There may be some restrictions about the length of time a stay in inpatient drug rehab is permitted, and every one of these questions can be answered before you start treatment so that it's clear just how long and individual can stay in the rehab facility of preference.
