Halfway House

A halfway house is a location which allows for a smooth transition if somebody is newly sober independently or has finished a drug rehab program and needs help re-acclimating into a regular lifestyle. Residing in a halfway house, or sober living facility as they are sometimes called, is part of sentencing if a person has been found guilty of drug charges as well. If help is needed locating a halfway house, speak to a drug and alcohol treatment facility and meet with a rehab specialist who will be able to point you in the right direction.
