Hospital Inpatient

Hospital inpatient services are accessible to anybody who must be safely managed through detoxification services when heavily addicted to drugs, or who needs a better spectrum of care such as someone who is dealing with a dual diagnosis so also needs mental health services during their rehab procedure. You can find both short-term and long-term hospital inpatient services available.

Self Payment

Self Payment is required when someone's insurance won't cover the total cost of treatment or will only cover some of it. In these instances, it may seem like a disadvantage but individuals really have a great deal of leverage due to the fact they can select whichever program they want without the restrictions from health insurance companies that so many people encounter. In addition, rehab centers will usually offer payment assistance for people whose only choice is self payment to help them get into treatment.

Medicare

Medicare recipients can receive rehab at alcohol and drug treatment centers which deliver either inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation when the facility is included in the network of Medicare-participating providers and with the approval of their Medicare appointed physician, who must assist in establishing the individual's treatment plan. Inpatient solutions are covered through Medicare Medicare Part A, with up front costs being just like any other type of hospital stay, and outpatient rehabilitation being covered through Medicare Medicare Part B.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on which program you are covered by, all private health care insurance plans typically cover some sort of drug and alcohol rehab service which range from outpatient rehabilitation to inpatient or residential alcohol and drug rehabilitation programs. Individuals might have to take part in a drug rehab center that is in their network of providers and there might be other restrictions such as the amount of time their stay in rehab is covered. Individuals can choose an excellent facility they like and consult with a rehab specialist to ascertain if their insurance will handle it.

Military Insurance (E.G., Va, Tricare)

Military insurance which includes VA and Tricare does cover the expense of certain drug abuse treatment services. Detox services, outpatient and inpatient facilities in addition to partial hospitalization are all covered by military insurance, although military members may need pre-authorization and in that case they can liaise with their VA or Tricare consultant. There could be some restrictions concerning how long a stay in inpatient drug rehab is allowed, and all of these questions will be answered prior to starting rehabilitation so that it is clear the length of time and individual can remain in the treatment center of preference.
