Partial Hospitalization/Day Treatment

Partial hospitalization, or Day Treatment as it's sometimes referred to as, is a drug and alcohol treatment program meant for individuals who need and want a thorough and organized rehabilitation strategy and environment yet don't require night and day care. It can help make men and women in recovery continue to be supported throughout the [[[rehab process without interfering with other activities they might need to sustain while in rehab. Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is also an alternative for many who have finished an inpatient or residential center and want help with the smooth transition back into a normal drug free lifestyle.

ASL or Other Assistance for Hearing Impaired

The hearing impaired are often prone to alcoholism and drug abuse due to the problems that their impairment impose on them. While discovery of this problem can often be hard among the hearing impaired, you can find ASL and other assistance services readily available for them when drug abuse treatment is necessary. Other than ASL, such services might include assistive listening tools and captioned video materials to ensure that deaf and hearing impaired people are obtaining the support they require in drug rehabilitation.

Self Payment

Self Payment is required when someone's insurance won't pay for the entire cost of rehabilitation or will only cover part of it. In these situations, it may seem like a disadvantage but people actually have a much more leverage because they can select whichever center they would like without the limitations from health insurance providers that so many individuals face. Likewise, rehabilitation programs will usually provide payment assistance for people whose only choice is self payment to enable them to get into rehabilitation.

Medicaid

Some rehab programs accept Medicaid in the event the individual is unable to self pay or present another type of private medical health insurance. Medicaid may possibly pay for outpatient and short-term rehab in a limited amount of centers, and in such cases individuals may want to explore the self pay alternative and drum up any resources they are able to to pay for a more quality rehabilitation center that will get better results, such as a long-term residential drug rehab facility.

State Financed Insurance (Other Than Medicaid)

State financed insurance other than Medicaid can be used to cover the expense of drug treatment if other kinds of insurance or self payment aren't an option. If a person does not have any private insurance and doesn't yet know if they could qualify for state insurance, they should check with their Social Services office in their area to ascertain if they are and then fill out an application. Most state financed insurance will cover both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation, but usually only in the state which offers the insurance plan.
