  • The prescription stimulants Adderall is becoming a popular party-drug, and it isn't uncommon for someone who would use recreational party drugs such as Ecstasy to use a prescription stimulant such as Adderall to stay up and part all night or even for days in some cases.

Hospital Inpatient

Hospital inpatient services are accessible to anybody that should be safely managed through detox services when heavily addicted to alcohol and drugs, or who wants a broader spectrum of care such as someone who has a dual diagnosis and also needs mental health solutions during their rehabilitation process. You'll find both short-term and long-term hospital inpatient services offered.

Outpatient

Outpatient solutions are on the low end of the spectrum of rehabilitation services in terms of intensity of care, as the individual can maintain their lifestyle in many ways with no commitment of needing to remain in a treatment program while undergoing treatment services. While this might seem perfect it might not provide the much needed change of environment than many individuals in rehab need to have a productive rehab.

ASL or Other Assistance for Hearing Impaired

The hearing impaired can often be predisposed to alcoholism and drug and alcohol use due to problems their impairment impose on them. While discovery of this issue is often difficult among the hearing impaired, you'll find ASL along with other assistance services available for them when drug abuse rehab is necessary. Other than ASL, such services can include assistive listening equipment and captioned video resources to ensure that deaf and hearing impaired individuals are obtaining the help they need in drug rehabilitation.

Self Payment

Self Payment is necessary when a person's insurance isn't going to pay for the total cost of rehab or will only cover some of it. In these situations, it may seem like a drawback but individuals in fact have a great deal of leverage due to the fact they can choose whichever center they would like without the restrictions from health insurance companies that so many people encounter. Likewise, treatment programs will frequently provide payment assistance for individuals whose only option is self payment to enable them to get into treatment.

Medicaid

Some rehabilitation facilities accept Medicaid if the individual is not able to self pay or present any other type of private health insurance. Medicaid may only cover outpatient and short-term rehabilitation inside a limited amount of facilities, and in cases like this individuals might want to investigate the self pay option and drum up any resources they can to cover a more quality rehab center that will get better results, like a long-term residential drug and alcohol treatment center.

Medicare

Medicare recipients can seek treatment at alcohol and drug rehabilitation facilities which provide either inpatient or outpatient treatment when the center is included in the network of Medicare-participating providers and with the authorization of their Medicare appointed physician, who must help out with establishing the individual's rehabilitation plan. Inpatient solutions are provided through Medicare Part A, with up front costs being the same as any other kind of hospital stay, and outpatient rehabilitation being covered through Medicare Medicare Part B.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on which program you are covered by, all private medical insurance plans typically cover some form of drug and alcohol rehabilitation service which range from outpatient rehab to inpatient or residential drug rehabilitation centers. Individuals may have to take part in a drug treatment facility that's inside their network of providers and there could be other restrictions such as just how long their stay in rehabilitation is covered. Individuals can pick an excellent facility they prefer and meet with a rehabilitation specialist to find out if their insurance will take care of it.

Military Insurance (E.G., Va, Tricare)

Military insurance which includes VA and Tricare does cover the price of particular drug abuse treatment solutions. Detoxification services, outpatient and inpatient facilities along with partial hospitalization are covered by military insurance, although military members may require pre-authorization in which case they can speak with their VA or Tricare representative. There can be some limitations regarding the length of time a stay in inpatient drug rehabilitation is allowed, and all of these questions will be answered before beginning rehab so that it's clear how much time and individual can remain in the rehabilitation program of preference.
